Registration for Spring 2024 is officially open!! We will start indoor practice the beginning of February and it is tentatively scheduled for Monday evenings from 530-730 at the Warren County Izaak Walton.

Kids are required to have Hunter Safety prior to practice starting in February. Please visit Iowa DNR website for a list of upcoming classes in the area. You can also do an online class and sign up for a field day locally to complete your registration. We will try to relay information as we receive it as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Eric Jensen, our interim safety officer, or any coach or board member.

We will be doing registration/shooter accounts slightly different this next season compared to previous. Every shooter will have their own "account" that parents have access to view throughout the season.

Registration will be $400 base rate for everyone to shoot singles. You have the option for Advanced Disciplines add ons. So if you know you want to shoot Doubles ($100), Handicap ($100), Skeet ($100), 5-Stand ($50).. we would recommend you pay the $400 registration and put an additional $350 on your account to cover the advanced disciplines. You would then have the option to pay for this in full or over 4 monthly payments. Your advanced discipline costs would be deducted from the shooter account as you use them. You may not use it all and it would roll over to next year, or you may need to add more money later in the season, depending on how much you shoot. But this is what we think you may want in there.

Another new update coming from the WCSS Board is the opportunity to put fundraising dollars back in our shooters accounts. All shooters are required to sell 20 $10 raffle tickets this Spring. You are encouraged to sell above and beyond this. For every ticket sold, $6 will go back into each shooter's individual account. This will allow you to raise money to help cover costs of advanced disciplines or go towards ammo purchases. This is a huge deal! Our fundraising team is working hard to make our raffle really awesome and I think these tickets will sell themselves.

The board and coaches have been working diligently all year to make sure each season is going to be better than the last. We are really excited to have you join us!!
